This 10-week, super-fun and comprehensive Babysitting unit is designed for kids approximately 5th-8th grade, and covers a wide range of important topics your child will need to know as they step into the world of babysitting. From health and safety issues and what-would-you-do behavior concerns to snack ideas, fun activities, and infant care, your child will finish this course with increased confidence in caring for little ones. And they will be collecting a notebook of helpful resources along the way, as well as assembling a fun bag to take along on babysitting jobs!
Designed and written by Ryann Stanley, a homeschooling mother of (soon to be) six children and experienced classroom teacher with a degree in Family & Consumer Science, this downloadable course draws from helpful video links, offers fun activities and discussion topics, and includes extra instructions for use in a homeschool co-op.
